"The Bobby Jones Retreat has encouraged me in such a way that I was able to graduate from highschool a semester early as well as graduated in the top ten percet of my class with the G.P.A. of 4.5. furthermore, I graduated with honors and received more than six scholarships. Three of these were full four year tuition scholarships," she said.
Currently a frsheman at Florida Memorial University, Smith is an honors student with seven classes as well as involved in eight differet organizations at the present time.

Bobby Jones Continues to Receive Distinguished Honors
Bobby Jones, Ambassador of The Commonwealth of Dominica, West Indies, and host of the longest running television show on cable television, "Bobby Jones Gospel", continues to receive honors of distinction for his outstanding service to gospel music.
Central City Production Stellar Awards' President, Mr Don Jackson, recently honored Ambassador Jones by naming a prestigious award, "The Ambassador Bobby Jones Legends Award", for him. This award will be presented to gospel personalities that are recognized for their outstanding contributions in the gospel music industry. This award will be presented annually to a selected gospel icon.
Mr Jackson announced this additional award recognition at a recent press conference in Nashville, Tennessee announcing the nominees for the upcoming Stellar Awards event.

The Education Division has been working with Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) for the past two years and are proud to announce that currently five BCPS students who participated in the Gospel Industry Retreat have decided to continue their education and are currently enrolled in Florida Memorial University. One of the students are highlighted below.
DANA SMITH - Ely High School Graduate
Majoring in Biology, she sings with the Ambassador Chorale and Gospel Choir. Her goals are to attend Medical school and to specialize in pediatrics.
